Truckers hauling to California be forewarned, while the average price of diesel in the country continues to drop, fueling up in the Sunshine State can cost you a pretty penny with at least one fuel station in the state listing the price for diesel at close to $6/gal. this week.

According to the May 14 Diesel Boss Fuel Report, the price of diesel at surveyed California truckstops was at least 30 to 60 cents higher per gallon than the highest prices elsewhere in the country.

A new rear-mount PTO from Parker Chelsea is said to eliminate clearance issues while providing high torque ratings.

The Chelsea 511 Series PTO includes a coaxial designed rear-mount PTO with compact housing. High capacity bearings and gear designs provide torque ratings up to 590 lbs.-ft..or 800 Nm, the company said.

Using an advanced formulation, Tire Lyna sealant can safely seal tire punctures up to ½ in. in thickness, helping reduce downtime and tire repair costs, said the company.

Tire Lyna is applied to the inside of a tire to protect the liner against heat and oxidation, thereby slowing down the degradation process. It also helps maintain proper tire inflation pressure, and prevents and corrects punctures, Tire Lyna said.

That’s what experts are saying, notes CFO, about a trading loss that has knocked billions off the bank’s market share, sparked probes by the Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission, forced credit-rating firms to issue negative outlooks for the bank, and turned the spotlight on a bank unit that was set up to invest excess deposits but also generate a sizable profit.

The CFO story is based primarily on interviews and commentary from experts, including the former finance chief at JPMorgan, who have extensive knowledge and understanding of the risk involved in investing in a benchmark for credit-default swaps designed to mitigate the bank’s overall credit exposure, in particular the possibility of higher interest rates and inflation. But the hedge was risky itself and the positions in derivatives so large that they distorted the market.
